For many people, the home office has become one of the most frequently used spaces in the house.
But there's a problem.
We often spend hours choosing the right computer, monitor, keyboard, and desk—and almost no time thinking about how comfortable we are while using them.
Start by looking at your chair.
When you're seated, can you work comfortably without constantly shifting positions? Depending on your setup and personal preferences, a supportive chair or lumbar cushion may make your workspace more comfortable.
Next, look at your monitor.
Positioning your screen appropriately can help you avoid repeatedly leaning forward just to see what's on the display. Your keyboard and mouse should also be arranged so you aren't constantly reaching across the desk.
Don't forget your feet.
If your feet don't rest comfortably while you're seated, an appropriately positioned footrest may make your setup feel more stable and comfortable.
But even an excellent workspace doesn't eliminate the need to move.
Give yourself regular opportunities to stand, walk around, stretch comfortably, refill your water, or simply change position.
You can even create a small desk wellness kit.
Keep a water bottle, stretching strap, massage ball, or another simple wellness accessory nearby so taking a short break becomes easier.
And when the workday ends?
Leave the desk.
Close the laptop.
Turn off the monitor.
Your workspace should support your work—not take over your home.
At Pure Heaven Healing, we believe wellness isn't limited to spa nights and weekends.
It should also be part of the places where you spend your ordinary Tuesday afternoon.
