When was the last time you spent 30 minutes at home without looking at a screen?
Phones help us communicate, work, shop, navigate, and stay entertained. But because they're always available, quiet moments can easily disappear.
Tonight, try a simple experiment.
Put your phone somewhere you can't easily reach for 30 minutes.
Dim the lights.
Make tea or another favorite drink.
Turn on peaceful music or simply enjoy the quiet.
Then choose something that doesn't require a screen. Read a few pages of a book. Journal. Stretch. Pray. Organize something small. Talk with someone you love.
You can also create a relaxing atmosphere with a diffuser or another home fragrance you enjoy.
This isn't about rejecting technology.
It's about remembering that you can intentionally disconnect from it.
Start with 30 minutes.
You might discover that one of the most valuable wellness tools you have isn't something you need to purchase.
It's uninterrupted time.
